Heavy and light letter pronunciation

Distinguish between heavy (full-mouth) and light (flat) letter sounds, including conditional letters like ر and ل.

Some letters are heavy, some light. The contrast is taught from the letters themselves.

What you will be able to do

• Pronounce heavy (mufakhkham) letters with full-mouth resonance.
• Keep light (muraqqaq) letters flat without accidental heaviness.
• Apply conditional tafkheem/tarqeeq rules to ر and ل.
